Eat Local. Eat Fresh. Forest Grove Farmers Market

The Forest Grove Farmers Market operates between mid-May and mid-October and is located in the heart of downtown Forest Grove, across from Pacific University. The Market has grown significantly since opening with over 1,000 visitors each Wednesday and it continues to grow.

The Forest Grove Farmers Market is managed by Adelante Mujeres, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the holistic education and empowerment of low-income Latina women and their families. The Farmers Market promotes a family-focused environment with a Latino flair. Consequently, it attracts individuals from all age groups, and with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Additionally, the Market is a small-business incubator for Adelante Mujeres sustainable farming program, and career and economic development program.

Shopping at the Farmers Market means
  • your food doesn’t travel the US average of 1500 miles from field to fork
  • you are supporting local farmers and small business owners
  • you are aware of local food systems
  • you support your community
  • you get the freshest produce available to you
  • you get to know the farmer who nurtured your food

The Forest Grove Farmers Market depends on volunteer support.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or vendor or more information, please contact Gina Bell, Market Manager at gbell@adelantemujeres.org or 503.992-0078.
