Breaking Ground at Adelante Mujeres
Construction has begun on main street. They broke ground the day after we vacated the building on August 24th.
In just a short period of time, Fulcrum Construction has made great progress in knocking down walls and leveling floors. As you can see in the pictures, we can’t even recognize the Microenterprise and front offices anymore. This is an exciting time for Adelante Mujeres as we watch our building be transformed into our dream work and program space.
Of course, with changes come some challenges as the team squeezes themselves into the Old Town Church, but everyone feels it will be worth it in the end.
Although, the construction is well under way, we are still chipping away at the Capital Campaign that will make it all possible. If you haven’t had a chance yet, please check out our Capital Campaign webpage for more info on how you can have your company or foundation’s name on one of the new dazzling spaces, such as one of the six Early Childhood Education classrooms for only $35,000. We are so grateful for the support we have already received from companies like First Tech, who snagged the naming rights to the new Chicas Makerspace. Get your naming opportunity today!
