Latine Heritage Month is Every Month.

We just want to take a moment to thank everyone who continues to support Adelante Mujeres and our mission to empower Latina women. When Latina women are empowered, they become the representation we need to create change.

This past month, across that nation, Latine people were celebrated and praised for their contributions to this nation. Yet, we continue to see the disparities among our community. Latinas still only make 55 cents for every dollar paid to white men. The pandemic has wreaked havoc within the Latine community. Latina women have been greatly impacted by large employment losses due to being overrepresented in industries that have been hit hardest by the pandemic.

While we want to highlight the amazing work our community has done, and the impact local organizations can have, it is important to remember there is still work to be done.

It is thanks to supporters like you that we can continue to do this work. We will continue to highlight the amazing work Latine/as are doing because #LatineHeritage is every day.
