The 2022-2023 school year has come to an end and what a year this has been for our preschoolers! Teachers, parents, and students have accomplished many milestones, and there's so much to celebrate! This year has seen them grow and develop so much. They have become confident and competent young learners ready to take on new and exciting things.

Gladis, our school cook, is chopping up juicy pineapples while a pot of posole bubbles on the stove. Colorful meals are being arranged on tiny plates, and small cups are milk are being poured. These meals will feed our youngest students — children in our Early Childhood Education Program.

Graduation season looked pretty different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but graduates of our Early Childhood Education Program (ECE Program) were each treated to a mini social distancing graduation celebration. See the photos!

One of the most difficult things as mothers is to look at the positive side of everything when we have a baby and our dreams are transformed.

Early Childhood Education is a huge part of our work here at Adelante Mujeres. So when the Early Childhood Coalition Lobby Day in Salem rolled around, we jumped in. Adelante Mujeres Early Childhood Education staff and women in our Adult Education Program attended.

On November 8th, Windermere awarded Adelante Mujeres a $5,000 grant to support our Adult Education and Early Childhood Education programs.

Inside Hortensia’s classroom there is always something fun going on. It feels like a party: singing, dancing, arts and crafts, dressing up in costumes. The children laugh and play, create and dance.
